Which task should you improve first?
A quick filter for finding repetitive activities that consume time and attention.

For one week, note tasks that repeat, require copying information, or regularly create rework. Choose one that is frequent, predictable, and low risk. Describe the current process in five steps, the time it takes, and the expected result. Only then look for a tool. Starting with the problem rather than the technology makes a genuinely useful improvement much more likely.
